Odyssey Books has closed its online bookstore, the first store in Canada to do so.
The decision comes after a $1 million fundraising campaign on Indiegogo to get the bookseller back online was successful.
“We want to thank everyone who donated, we appreciate your support,” reads the statement posted on the bookstore’s website.
“The bookshop is closing its doors to celebrate the fact that we are here, with our customers and partners, to celebrate our success.
We are proud to have been a part of this amazing community.”

Odyssey will continue to sell books through its online store.
A Facebook page for the store has already been created.
The online bookseller closed in April and the store’s closure came a week after Odyssey announced it would shut down.
The company says it’s not sure what will happen to the books that will be stored in its store, but said it plans to continue to collect royalties.
